Aerial Photo | Thousand Oaks Ca
This is an example of one of two fine homes Vortex Aerial shot as it depicts a more Caribbean feel in its architecture and landscape theme. This was literally the, “house next door” on a two home assignment, shot on the same flight from the same vantage point.

Thousand Oaks by Aerial Photo
In order to shoot the clients desired prospective of this home, Vortex Aerial was required to lift off from the neighboring community and fly out to this property and shoot with a medium range lens. Challenging conditions and circumstances such as this are just another day on the job for our aerial photography and video production service.

Big Tujunga Dam in Los Angeles, CA - Aerial Photo
In the San Gabriel Mountains above the city of LA lies the Big Tujunga Dam.
Vortex Aerial was called out to provide ongoing visual documentation of the seismic retrofitting being installed so that the reservoir can again run at full capacity. This is a crucial structure that regulates most of the ground water supply for the city and surrounding county. We flew our autonomous photo rig from the rim and hovered out over the spillway to capture the ongoing action at 200 feet above the take off zone and over 500 feet above the spillway floor.
